with Farmer Joe from Moody Town Gardens – ages 8 and Up

During this week, children will learn more about where their food comes from and how it is made. We will explore how dairy, produce, poultry, and grains are grown and then processed into the foods we love. Children will learn about different crops through books, hands-on activities, group discussion, and taste testing. The camp is lead by Johanna Burdet of Moodytown Gardens in Palmyra. Johanna has been farming for 10 years, has a degree in Sustainable Agriculture, and taught Agriculture Education to grades K-8 for three years.
